- 1 The Federal Commissioner shall act with complete independence in performing his or her tasks and exercising his or her powers. 2 The Federal Commissioner shall remain free from external influence, whether direct or indirect, and shall neither seek nor take instructions from anybody.
- The Federal Commissioner shall be subject to audit by the Bundesrechnungshof as long as this does not affect his or her independence.
