Data security under Austrian data protection law

In the case of image processing, the controller must take appropriate measures corresponding to the risk posed by an interference and ensure that unauthorised persons cannot access or subsequently change the image recording. (§ 13 DSG).

§ 54 DSG also contains special provisions on data security when processing personal data for security police purposes.
